Q. What size server can I colocate? Mid-Tower or Rack-mount?
A. We can accommodate any size rack mount or Mid-Tower case, but our collocation plans generally provide for a 3U rack-mount or a 21" tall x 8.5" wide x 19" deep Mid-Tower case. Please contact

Q. What OS's do you support?
A. All of them. Our favorites are the Open Source strains, but Windows and even Apple boxes are welcome.

Q. Do I have 24/7/365 access to my server?
A. In case of emergency, simply contact us any time. For regular maintenance issues, we do ask for 24 hours notice, just out of respect for our Geeks.

Q. Can I ship my server to Sprocket Networks?
A. Of course. All major delivery companies come by our facility daily. If you do ship your server to Sprocket Networks, we'll even reimburse your account for up to $25 per server. We also offer secure pickup services for clients in the DFW Metroplex.

Q. What network card should be I use?
A. We suggest a quality network card such as a 3Com. Our network supports both 10 and 100 Mbps cards. If you don't have a network card we can supply one for you.

Q. I need to collocate a server ASAP.
A. Is today soon enough? Really, we offer same day service. No worries.

Q. Can you rotate tapes in my server for me?
A. Yes. Be sure to install and configure your tape drive before you ship your server to Sprocket Networks. We can rotate your tapes on a weekly or daily basis, with offsite storage also available.

Q. What if my server goes down and I cannot get to Sprocket Networks' facility?
A. Sprocket Networks provides remote power cycling of your server's power outlet via IP (emulating a hard reboot). If you need a reboot of your server that requires hands-on attention, simply contact our Support Staff 24/7 to open a support ticket. Simple hands-on reboots during business hours are no charge. After-hours reboots may incur a $60 fee for priority attention.

Q. Who do I contact if I need to add IP addresses, another Ethernet port, or an additional server?

Q. How soon can you have a server online for me?
A. During normal business hours (M-F, 0830-1600) orders are processed immediately and accounts are provisioned within minutes. After-hours and weekend orders are processed first thing Monday morning. For client security and fraud prevention, all of our orders are provisioned manually, thus the short lag time.
